MUSIC TUITION / LESSONS

Over the course of the past ten years, Micah, has been privileged to have been taught by some of the world's leading Euphonium Players including Stephen Cooper, David Childs, Steven Mead, Trevor Groom and David Taylor. During this time, he has been able to experience many different approaches to playing which has allowed him to develop his own practice and performance techniques.

As an educator, Micah has always enjoyed being able to advise, support and guide students both within an education setting as well as delivering private music tuition. Micah has been fortunate to have taught a wide range of ages and abilities and really delights in seeing people achieve success.

Micah has decided to set up a new coaching and education programme entitled ‘The MDP Method’ which gives participants a personalised practice support programme designed around the individuals ability, age, lifestyle and musical goals.

​

The programme is designed around a holistic person centred set of principles which ensures that each programme is unique and personal to each individual. This programme takes into account the individuals own age, ability, wishes and personal goals. The programme’s foundation is all designed around a core set of skills required by all musicians to perform at a consistent standard. The programme is designed to give participants guided support to achieve their own personal goals which are monitored through weekly and monthly sessions.
